NURTURE is an international and trans-disciplinary research journal for professionals working in any field directly or indirectly related to the betterment of individual, family or community. Nurture provides an international forum for academia for publishing their research work having implications for individual, family or community as consumers and social units. It aims at supporting the creation and accumulation of knowledge that can be used for empowering individual, family or community so that they can optimize their quality of their life.

This journal is initiated by Home Economists, one of the fields of education that focuses on educating the learners in various areas of arts and sciences so as to enable them to appreciate various components of quality of life; and to identify, create, and use resources and opportunities to attain best possible quality of life. However it is well appreciated that several areas of studies, through provision of a variety of knowledge and skills have been and will be contributing to the betterment of individual family and community in several ways. Thus the editorial board ahs members forma variety of disciplines and potential contributions are not limited to any specific title of discipline.

The journal aims to publish articles that are directly or indirectly related to empowering individuals, families and communities to improve their quality of life. Thus although the spectrum of areas of studies that could send articles for this journal is very wide but must have relevance to the objectives and should be within the scope of the journal..
