Introduction
Pakistan Home Economics Association was founded under the leadership of Dr. Mrs. Zahida Amjad Ali in 1956. The basic purpose of the association is betterment of individual family and community through scientific homemaking and education and research in relevant areas. Journal of American Home Economics association mentioned its creation. Mrs. Saeeda Baquer Khan revived the Association in 1987 and the association remained active for a few years. On 24th March 2007 a zealous attempt is made by 35 interested professionals to reactivate the association. At this occasion following office bearers and members of executive committee were nominated by the group and chosen unopposed or through voting. Current Executive committee :
