CHE Rules And Guidelines
Please read the following rules carefully and apply for admission only if you are willing to and would be able to follow these rules.
- The College gate will be closed for graduate & under graduate (XI to B.Sc. II) student at 8:15 am. Student unable to reach on time should go back to their homes and must not keep standing outside the college gate. In case of students who are unable go back to their home on their own, parents/guardians must make sure that family members or car/van drivers responsible for their commute take the students back to their homes and do not drop the students at college gate if they reach after 8.15 am The college administration is not responsible for any accident or mishap occurring outside the college premises.
- M.Sc. students will be allowed to enter after producing their ID cards till 10 AM.
- Assembly for student will be held daily at 8.20.am. Attending the assembly is mandatory for all the students.
- Students can go to the canteen only during break time i.e. 11.30 a.m-12.00 noon. Eating any where in the college except the canteen and food labs is strictly prohibited.
- Students will not be allowed to leave the college before 1:30 PM.
- After entering college students must go straight to classes. If they do not have a class they should go either to library, common room or hostel lounge, or unoccupied classrooms. Sitting anywhere else is strictly prohibited.
- Rules concerning the uniform will be strictly imposed. Any additional head gear (scarf, hijab etc) must of the same color and materials uniform dupatta. Any kind of Make up or Jewellery is not allowed. Students not wearing proper uniforms will not be allowed to enter the college and to attend classes
- Any entertainment/music gadget, mobile phones, etc. is not allowed; any such object will be immediately confiscated by the discipline committee.
- Students should have spacious bags with proper locks and key, and must not leave their bags unattended.
- Students who are unable to attend classes for any reason must take prior permission. In case of illness or accident information should be sent to the college principal ASAP through written application sent by hand or courier.
- Regardless of the reason leave cannot be granted for more than 25% of the total teaching days in the session. Admission of Students who have been absent or on leave for more than 25% of the teaching session would be considered automatically cancelled.
- Students are not entitled to get their assignments checked or signed by their teachers if they do not work in accordance with the teacher’s directions or do not complete their assignments on time.
- Parent teacher meeting to discuss general issues will be held on first Wednesday of the month at 11.30 am. Any parents who want to see the principal or any subject teacher for individual issues should take prior appointment by sending a letter to college principal. However it must be noted that no applications request for intervention regarding checking of late assignments/projects, or for granting leave exceeding 25% of the session in all or for more than one week at a time would be entertained by the college administration.
- Any serious violation of the rules or misconduct by students or improper behavior by parents in the college premises, and attempts to use social, political or bureaucratic influence to get undue benefits would lead to penalty or cancellation of admission as decided by the principal or the discipline committee.
- Students who behave and perform appropriately, attend classes regularly and exhibit good academic performance will be given appreciation certificate and awards
